Chairman and CEO

Robert C. Waggoner is chairman and CEO of BurrellesLuce.  Mr. Waggoner is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, is a former chairman of the Harvard College Visiting Committee, and member of the Harvard Business School Visiting Committee and the Dean’s Council at the Harvard School of Public Health.  A trustee and chairman emeritus of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Mr. Waggoner is also a founder and director of the New Jersey Performing Arts Center, and a director of E3, a New Jersey school choice alliance.  He holds a B.A. from Harvard University and an M.B.A. form Harvard Business School.

Chaz Waggoner is President at BurrellesLuce, responsible for delivery of media content to the large base of agency, corporate, government and non-profit clients. After earning a bachelor's degree in economics from Southern Methodist University, Mr. Waggoner joined BurrellesLuce full time in 1986. Over his career, he has served in a variety of key management positions. He has managed the company's early-morning news delivery service as well as one of its largest production facilities.

Cathy Del Colle joined what was then Burrelle’s in 1987, after having earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.  She started as a sales associate, specializing in fashion and higher education.  The following year, she was named regional sales manager for the Washington, DC, area.  Del Colle has been directly involved in client services since 1996, when she returned to the company’s headquarters in Livingston, NJ. Immediately prior to taking on her current post, she was vice president-client services.  Del Colle has an extensive working knowledge of PR professionals’ monitoring needs, and has developed a close relationship with many practitioners over the years. When she worked in the nation’s capital, Del Colle sat on the board of Washington Women in Public Relations, which she also served as membership coordinator and, in 1995, as president.  She remains an honorary member of that organization.

Since beginning her career with BurrellesLuce in 1982, Becky Lawrence has worked in production, IT, training, and management positions. Her broad range of experience gives her a unique perspective and insight. She oversees all of the major production facilities and works with the various teams to help them best serve the needs of our clients.

Johna Burke

Chief Marketing Officer

During a career spanning over 20 years, Johna Burke has worked both as a public relations practitioner and a provider of services that are vital to the successful performance of communications professionals. For 11 years, she was associated with U-Haul International, ultimately becoming head of public and investor relations. Ms. Burke joined BurrellesLuce in 2000, as West Coast regional vice president; in 2008 she became a corporate senior vice president and currently serves as chief marketing officer. She serves as co-chair for AMEC North America, and is a highly rated speaker who is often invited to talk about best practices in media relations, monitoring, measurement and PR effectiveness.

Since joining BurrellesLuce in 1988, Harry Brown has played an important part in the management of existing systems and new initiatives for the company. His experience and knowledge of BurrellesLuce, along with his intuitiveness, has given him complete understanding of all the current IT systems and how they interact to fit the needs of the business and its constituents. Mr. Brown oversees daily IT operations including direct management of IT personnel. Prior to joining BurrellesLuce, Mr. Brown was general manager of Mechanical Automated Test Systems Group for Fairchild Semiconductor Division of Schlumberger.

Steve Blaha

Chief Financial Officer

Steve joined BurrelleLuce in 1984 as the accounting manager and has risen to his current position of CFO. He is responsible for the financial management of the company. Before joining BurrelleLuce, Steve was the Assistant Controller at Schulke Radio Productions, a division of Cox Communications based in Atlanta. He began his professional career at Franco Manufacturing Co. Steve was a 1981 graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
